Babamars - Whatever Happened to All Our Pioneers
indietronica, bloghouse, dance-punkish / spotify, apple, soundcloud

An album that feels like if in 2005 MGMT, Kavinsky, Passion Pit, and Owl City made an album together. Atleast that's what this really reminds me of. One of the most 2000's albums I've heard in a while and it's quickly become a favorite of mine. It has such a fun energy to it, very summer-y and bright and overall charming.
Info on the band is kind of hard to find, but from what I can they seem to have three members, Ben Touchet, Philippe Guillot, and Walter De Castro (sourced from CD booklet). No music has been put out since their last album "Surprising Twists" in 2007.
